个人简介
斯坦福大学英语系教授。哈佛大学优秀文科学士，约翰霍普金斯大学比较文学博士毕业。曾任华盛顿大学圣路易斯分校赫斯顿客座教授，获得美国加利福尼亚州大学洛杉矶分校卓越教育成就奖、斯坦福大学人文中心奖学金，加州大学校长奖学金（人文类），欧文·库珀传记与文学史研究奖学金，约翰霍普金斯大学欧文人文奖学金等。专攻二十世纪美国文学与文化，重点领域为小说、媒体、社会学、美学和文学理论，科学与文学，小说史，电影史等。
