于2014年在澳大利亚墨尔本注册。由包括中国上海大学、新西兰维多利亚大学、澳洲拉筹伯大学、中国上海市华文创意写作中心、中国香港大学、中国人民大学等在内的30余所高校研究机构共同发起。协会宗旨是：促进华文创意写作人才的培养，促进华文创意写作作品的培育，促进华文创意写作事业国际影响力提升，促进华文创意写作人才、作品与创意产业、公共文化服务的联结，推进华文创意写作人才资质的国际认证，推广华文创意写作教育教学及学科研究。Global Association of Chinese Creative Writing was registered in Melbourne, Australia, in 2014. It is jointly initiated by more than 30 universities, research institutions, including Shanghai University, Victoria University of New Zealand, La Trobe University, Shanghai Chinese Creative Writing Center, the University of Hong Kong, Renmin University of China, etc.The aim of the Association is to promote the development of Chinese creative writing talents; To promote the development of creative writing in China; To promote the international influence of Chinese creative writing; To promote the connection between Chinese creative writing talents, works, and creative industries and public cultural services; To promote the international certification system of Chinese creative writing talents; To promote the teaching and research of Chinese creative writing
